Settling In

I made it safely to NC and I've been settling in quite nicely. I love it here so far! Everything is wonderful!!

I've spent the last few days just getting my stuff arranged and organized. I've done lots of shopping already but that should slow down a little bit. I've applied for a few jobs, but starting Monday, I'll really start the process. I hope it won't be such a timely process, but we'll see.

This weekend should be quite exciting. I'm meeting up with my former Wayland roommate, Liz, for lunch at Panera...great company and good food!! I can't wait. Then later tonight I'm heading out to see Avatar with my roomie and his friend. I think it'll be an interesting movie...perhaps! And of course, the Super Bowl is on Sunday! Go Saints!

That's all for now! I'll keep you updated as news happens! :)

Miss Abby!

Before leaving for North Carolina, I took a little trip home to Abilene to see some family. Of course, I was particularly excited to see Abby and how much she has grown. Here are a few pictures from the weekend. Enjoy!

Ridin' along in her automobile!

She's so excited! I love this picture! We wore her out at Kohl's!

Eating some of her Aunt Stephie's yummy pork tenderloin...she was loving it!Helping her mama get ready!

That's all for now! Until next time...

Moving...Again!

My car's packed up and I'm all ready to go!! In the morning, I'll be heading to Morrisville, North Carolina, to start a new chapter! I'm super excited!

No...I don't have a job. I'm going to apply for some when I get there! It's a little adventurous for me but I think it'll be good!

So, go to Google Maps and check out Morrisville. It's between Raleigh and Durham so I think it'll have all the things I need!

Talk to you from NC!
